2013 SuperMoon

On Saturday night I made the long trek from my condo to the parking lot outside my front door to photograph the SuperMoon.  Not at it’s closest point to the earth yet, I just wanted to get some photographs of it on this clear night.  My plan was to shoot it Sunday night at moonrise with the Denver skyline, but the weather did not want that as we ended up with heavy thunderstorms with pea sized hail during moonrise the next day.

So, shooting with my Canon 7D and Sigma 120-300 2.8 on a tripod I got a few photos.
