10 Shot – 2013 MLS New England at Colorado

Man.  It was hot yesterday.  Driving to Dick’s Sporting Goods Park it was a toss up on either having the windows open and let the winds attempt to keep me somewhat cool, or crank the air conditioning and battle the heat from the sun.  I opted for the windows open to save on gas.  When I got to the stadium, I was wiped out already.  Drenched in sweat, I headed up to the media room to set up and eat dinner before my normal pre game walk around the field.  Halfway around the field I was hoping someone would bring me a wheelchair or at least a beer.  I was spent, and I still had an hour before the game.

It was an ok game.  Great for the Rapids, kind of boring for photos.  The 7pm start, shooting from my favorite corner gave me harsh sidelight and back light instead of the nice golden light I love.  Rapids won, 2-1 with all the goals scored on the other end of the field.
