HS Football in the Snow!

The early HS Football game at the NAAC on Friday pitted the Golden Demons against the 4A powerhouse Monarch Coyotes.  This was a weird game weather wise.  Sun, rain, snow, more sun.  A little bit of everything.  It was lopsided too.  Monarch is led by the son of Colorado Buffaloes head coach Mike MacIntyre, Jay.  By the second quarter Monarch had surpassed 40 points and enacted the mercy rule running clock on the Demons.  I was a little disappointed that the Monarch Coach, with such a huge lead nearing the end of the 2nd quarter called both his remaining time outs trying to get one more score before heading in to the locker room at halftime.

The final score was 55-0.
