HS Softball

Dakota Ridge squared off with Ralston Valley in a great game on Tuesday evening.  Dakota Ridge jumped to a 1st inning 1-0 lead and held that until the Mustangs tied it up in the bottom of the fifth inning.  It would remain knotted together at the end of regulation and would stay that way one more inning until Ralston Valley scored in the bottom of the eighth to win the game.

It was a tough game to shoot, with clear skies and a setting sun coming down behind right field, shadows and harsh sunlight were throwing exposure readings all over the place.

It was also nice to see MaxPreps senior writer Gerry Valerio at the game supporting his daughter who is the lead off batter for Dakota Ridge.
