Golden Demons Girls Soccer vs Alameda - 10 Shot

The day after the Golden Demons defeated Conifer, they faced the Alameda International Pirates at the NAAC. This was a lopsided victory for the Demons. With the game ending via Mercy Rule 12-0. All 12 of Golden’s goals were scored in the first half. The Alameda coach was not happy to be on the receiving end of the offensive onslaught, but when a player attempts to cross the ball and it goes into the goal, what are you going to do. Some of the Golden Demons players got their first looks at goals for the season in this game.

Alameda looks to move from Jeffco to the Colorado 8 next season. Hopefully it will give them opponents closer to their level allowing the girls to be more competitive instead of being dominated in every game. Best of luck to the Pirates next season. As for the Demons, I have one more game of theirs to post later. The spring season always seems to go by so fast. With tennis, baseball, and other sports going on, it is tough to get all the games covered, but I do enjoy shooting soccer.
