Number 2 Ralston Valley Hockey defeats Stanley Lake

On Wednesday night, the defending Hockey State Champion Ralston Valley Mustangs scored three goals in the second period in a 5-0 route of the rival Standley Lake Gators. The number 2 ranked Mustangs had little trouble with the Gators in Ralston Valley’s final home game of the regular season.

In the game, five difference Mustangs scored. Along with the herd of Mustangs finding the back of the net, Cody Noel had three assists and both Kyle Valdez and Ian Snedden each had a goal and an assist. Mustangs Joe Millar, Tucker Moros and Tony Salazar rounded out Ralston Valley’s scoring.

Ralston Valley’s goalie Dominic Gomez stopped all nine shots he faced for his second shutout this season.
Ralston Valley put 50 shots on net. Standley Lake’s Joshua Benton made 45 saves.
