I headed out in 50mph gusts yesterday to shoot a regional cross country meet hosted by Lakewood out at NAAC.  The teams competing were Boulder, Fairview, George Washington, Greeley West, Hinkley, Legacy, Monarch, Pomona, Ralston Valley, Rangeview, ThunderRidge and the host team Lakewood.

With the winds as strong as they were, I chose to shoot the start, seek a non windy place and wait for the finish. Originally I had planned on moving down the course some to get some shots of the runners on some of the hills, but with the amount of people and the strong winds and the gear I had with me, I decided to play it safe.
