HS Softball
With a week of games lost do to the rains and floods in Colorado, it appears that CHSAA is trying to get as many games made up as quickly as possible. So for the second day in a row I headed to Ralston Valley’s softball field. After yesterday’s extra inning game, I was hoping for a more decisive game today. And Ralston Valley delivered.
A 5 inning 13-0 win for the home team Mustangs over the visiting Tigers of Lakewood High School. It wasn’t a quick game though. Early in the game, during a infield pop fly, a Lakewood batter collided with the Mustang first baseman and was down on the ground for a while. Later a Ralston Valley Mustang batter took a pitch to the side of her head, throwing her helmet up a bit, and shaking her up, but she stayed in the game after the trainers checked her out.
Here is my 10 Shot from this game.
Not quite sure what exactly is going on here.
Love the bat flex in this next one.
I was a little disappointed that I did not get the impact of the ball on this next one. I am just glad she was ok.
