It was a beautiful day at the NAAC in Arvada, Colorado for soccer on Monday evening. Sun was out, and two decent teams.
I was a little disappointed in the game. Green Mountain is a young team, with a lot of talent, but a ways to go before they become a powerhouse, and Golden, which is one of the top 25 teams in the state, and the 5th ranked team in 4A Colorado Soccer. Green Mountain held its own in the first half against the good offense and defense of the Golden Demons. However, I think that the Rams played a better game, but were handicapped. When the game started, there were only two officials. The third official was late, and I think this handicapped the Rams some. I will not go into detail, but I think the game could have been a lot closer than it was, and it should have been closer.
Golden scored two goals in the second half to win the game.
Here is my 10 Shot from the game.
