HS Girls Soccer – Did We Really Need This Game?

This game started, well, weird.  And late.  The AD at Aurora Central listed this game at Pomona, not at the NAAC.  The bus driver took the team to Pomona, dropped them off, and then left.  So, the team had to get the bus back, and then find the NAAC.  So the game started late.  About 45 minutes late.  Due to there being a second game after this game, the officials and coaches and stadium staff agreed on two 35 minute running clock halves instead of the standard 40 minute stopping clock.  But that did not matter as Pomona unloaded on the Aurora Central Trojans with 8 goals in the first half.  Two goals into the second half and the game was over for the 10 goal mercy rule.

On top of that, Aurora Central has no numbers on the front of their jerseys or shorts, so trying to figure out who the players are is all but impossible.
