Following Thursday’s soccer game between Mullen and Pomona, I covered the same two school for football opening night on Friday. The main thing I can say is, I need to lose weight, and fast. After three years of taking care of mom, sitting on my butt, I have gained more weight than ever, and it made it hard moving up and down the field. Morning bike rides, here I come…

Anyway, Pomona and Mullen were the number two and four teams in the state, and it looked to be a slobber knocker of a game. After trailing 14-7, Pomona took a 28-14 lead at halftime and went on to win 52-22. Here are some photos of the game. To see more, visit MaxPreps.
