What a day. Thursday saw two football games, and on top of that, it was my first run at football with the Canon 7D Mark II with my 120-300mm f2.8 lens on it, and a new to me Canon 1D Mark IV with a new to me 70-200mm f2.8 IS lens. What a combo… The 1D Mark IV is just a superb camera and the 7D Mark II has the same focus set up that the 1D X has. Just awesome.
Anyway, I photographed Ralston Valley hosting Rangeview for the first game of a double header. Ralston Valley handled Rageview with no problem, gaining a mercy rule, running clock in the second half. The Mustangs would go on to win the game 42-6.
Here are a few select shots from the game. To view more, please visit MaxPreps.
