Friday night it was raining and miserable out. I headed to the NAAC in full rain gear to photograph the Pomona Panther’s homecoming game against the Boulder Panthers. It would stop raining before halftime, but that did not really matter. Pomona devastated the visiting Boulder team by scoring 44 points in the first half. Holding Boulder scoreless in the first half, we were in a running clock mercy rule for more than half the game. The second half saw mainly reserves and junior varsity players in the game for Pomona. In the fourth quarter, Boulder was able to score a touchdown on a quarterback keeper, and added 2 points on a conversion, but that was all Boulder could manage.
It was a tough game to shoot and during the second half I started playing around with slow shutter speeds and second curtain syncs, two of which I have posted bellow.
So, here is my 10 shot from the game.
