HS Girls Soccer – Back on the Pitch
It was sure nice to get outside to shoot again. After a long winter of basketball, wrestling and hockey, sitting on the sidelines of the soccer pitch was a nice change. Even if the weather was not perfect.
With it still early in the year, the Conifer Lobos had to travel to the North Area Athletic Complex for a home game. At the elevation Conifer High School is, their home field was still covered in snow. They played host to the Pomona Panthers.
Pomona took the lead Thursday, taking a 2-1 lead in the first half. Pomona netted the loan goal in the second half to go on to a 3-1 win over the Lobos.
A fun part of this game was the throw in by Pomona’s Callie Stroud. Stroud would do a flip throw in when close to the goal box and in the first half assisted on a goal with the throw in.
Here is my 10 Shot from the game and a bonus.

All of these shots and more are available to view and purchase at MaxPreps. And here is a bonus animation of Stroud’s flip throw in.
