HS Soccer Upset
This was a crappy game for me and a great game for me. I was swamped most of Monday and when I got to the NAAC, I set up a goal remote and then went over to my main camera, only to find that I had forgot my batteries in the charger at home. Great. So I pulled down my 1D mark II that I had set up for my remote and shot the game with that. So it was crappy that I could not shoot a remote, but it was great because it has been a long time since I used my 1D as my main camera, and I have forgotten just how good it is. While only 8.2 megapixels, it is so fast to focus and locks on to focus just about every time. I just wish the buffer was better and it handled high ISO a bit better. One day I will have a couple 1D X’s to replace my Mark II and 7D.
This was a odd game. For most of the game, Arvada West was on the offense, but could not find the back of the net. Bear Creek was playing nothing but defense, but got one break in the first half that netted the Bears the only goal of the game to beat the Wildcats 1-0.
Here is my 10 Shot from the game.
