NCAA Basketball – SEC invades Boulder
The Georgia Bulldogs came into the Coors Events Center Saturday night to face the Colorado Buffaloes in the last game of 2013 and the final game before conference play starts. The Buffs are in the top 25 in both the Coaches Poll (24th) and the AP Poll (20th), were set to close out the preseason and start Pac-12 play in front of a lightly filled home arena. With the school on Winter Break, quite a few of the student fans were not there for the game against the Bulldogs.
And what a game. The Buffs took it to the Bulldogs. From rebounding, to shots both outside and in the paint, the Buffs were on fire, but it did not show any better than from the charity stripe. The Buffaloes were sent to the free throw line for 26 shots in the game, and they made all 26 of them. That was the first time in program history that the Buffs had been perfect from the free throw line (with a minimum of 15 shots attempts taken). The Buffs would go on to win the game 84-70.
Here is my 10 Shot from the game. All photos and more are available from Zuma Press for media use only. More photos can be viewed in my Archive Gallery.
