NCAA Basketball – The Bacon Game
I headed to Boulder early on Saturday, for what could potentially be one of my last basketball games for a while. I will not go into too much detail, but the wire I was shooting for all year, the wire I put all my faith in becoming a big success, folded at the end of October, and I have not been able to find a day job to hold me over while I keep shooting and trying to establish myself here in Colorado. My savings is totally drained and I am exploring all options to keep from selling camera gear to pay my bills. So, I do not know how much longer I will be able to continue shooting or posting. Not getting the nice sales or contracts is killing me. So if anyone in the Denver/Boulder area needs photos, please, contact me. I am very interested in team photography, whether it be youth, high school, college or pro. I have experience on all levels of team photography.
It was an early game for the Buffs, since there was a football game later in the day. To entice people to get up for the 10 a.m. start, the University offered free bacon to fans as they showed up. Let me tell you, getting to the arena at 8 a.m., they were cooking the bacon outside and it smelled great. The Buffs handled Jackson State with little problem to go to 3-1 on the season. Bonus for this game? I got a C-Unit T-Shirt. My first piece of Buffs clothing.
Here is my 10 Shot from the game. All photos and more can be purchased through my Archive or Zuma Wire for MEDIA USE ONLY.
